Glengariff Lodge

Glengarriff Lodge is a former hunting lodge of the Earls of Bantry and is situated on its own private island in the Glengarriff river, surrounded by a fifty-acre woodland estate and gardens. The estate completely surrounded by Glengarriff Nature Reserve which has many stunning paths and trails and is Ireland’s second largest ancient woodland.
The thatched Lodge has been under the current ownership for nearly sixty years. It was completely restored fifteen years ago with a view to creating a luxury retreat and events venue complete with lots of modern conveniences while preserving the old world charm of the house and gardens.
Glengarriff Lodge is licensed for legal civil ceremonies and has hosted memorable weddings with guest numbers up to about one hundred and fifty.
Glengarriff Lodge has a large open plan kitchen and conservatory which can host informal events of up to fifty guests or more formal fully seated events up to thirty guests. For weddings with more than fifty guests, a marquee can be arranged on behalf of couples in the stunning gardens.
Glengarriff Lodge is a truly unique venue situated in a magical woodland setting. Each event planned in Glengarriff is tailored to suit the individual vision of each client, ensuring a unique event every time.
