Just a quick mail to say thank you from myself and Paul for providing the most beautiful food for our guests at Ballynatray over the bank holiday weekend in August.
Our wedding was just so perfect and we were floating on air the whole weekend enjoying the celebrations with our close family and friends. It was truly magical, and we have some amazing photos and videos to keep the magical memories alive.
Your team were amazing across the weekend and I had such a giggle chatting with them all. Please tell them I was asking for them, in particular May, as we had a lovely chat about her late father, she’s a super woman.

Eamon and I just wanted to drop an email to say thank you so much for everything last Thursday and Friday in Borris House. Kerry and Lauren were brilliant on Thursday and took care of us all very well. Dinner was delicious and family members who would normally barely eat one serving were going up for seconds and thirds. Mai and the rest of the staff were exceptional on Friday and took care of everything perfectly. We had so many comments about the food, and while everyone loved the sharing plates idea, no one wanted to share.

Everything your team did, went absolutely perfect. And for the day-of leadership by Grace, we can’t express enough how thankful we are for that. Grace, you were always double checking that everything was going well and asking if we needed anything to assure our day went as well as possible. Even double checking that I enjoyed my oh so awaited brownie! We keep saying that Grace was the ultimate MVP of the wedding! haha

From start to finish, it was a pleasure doing business with you all and thank you for making it so easy for us. We’ve received tons of messages letting us know that the food was absolutely incredible and the best wedding food they’ve ever had… and Sinead and I 100% agree. From the hors d’oeuvre’s to the cocktails, all the way to the midnight snack. There was not one item that I didn’t like or wish I would’ve picked another option.

Just a note to say how thrilled we were with the food last weekend! Everyone was raving about it, several said it was the nicest wedding food they’d ever had! And Grace, oh Grace!! You were a rockstar, the ultimate professional, and so lovely in making sure myself and Paul were happy at all times. What a team you have, and I’ve only really dealt with 3 of you! What can I say?! Your food was absolutely phenomenal!! In presentation and taste. Rave reviews, guests couldn’t stop talking about it, complimenting you all day!! Everyone said it was hands down the tastiest food they’ve ever had at a wedding. It was really in another league!! (The beef and soup were a major talking point!!) We were so delighted and proud Eunice to have you and your staff involved and running the day, Mai was fantastic and all the waiters and waitresses were just pets, so on the ball! Our wedding in Borris was just incredible and I wanted to drop you a line to thank you and your team for being so wonderful. It really was everything we could have hoped for and the comments we have had regarding the food have been nothing other than incredible. My mother talks more about that beef than she does her son getting married!

If we were to plan the wedding from London then we needed a super caterer and the moment we visited you in Dungarvan we knew we’d made the right decision. Never though could we have imagined that you’d go on to create what you did – all absolutely delicious and the presentation, simply stunning. The friendliness and professionalism of your team and in particular the wonder that is Mae! She made it for us. We were blown away – nothing was ever too much trouble and she was such a reassuring presence. I know these things don’t just simply happen and there’s a great deal of planning and preparation with I suspect, some last minute panics along the way. Whatever took place we will never know as Mae was calm personified, took everything in her stride and just an absolute joy. Please give her a hug from both of us!!

I consider myself extremely fortunate that Eunice Power and her team were able to cater my vegan wedding for me. It is not an exaggeration to say that her food and her team completely made my event – it would not have been the same without them. Although Eunice had never catered a 100% vegan event before, she threw herself into the challenge with gusto and delivered an outstanding result! “One of the reasons we chose to go the outside catering route for our wedding was the knowledge that the food can really bring that extra magic and theatre to the day &: we just couldn’t settle on a hotel that could provide that for us; with this is mind we looked at close to every caterer in Ireland to see who was the best fit for our day. There were a few things that stood out for us when looking at what Eunice had to offer; her attention to detail, beautiful presentation, quality of the food & her emphasis on the importance of a good front of house staff team. Not only did she not disappoint but she went above and beyond our (very high!) expectations; from silver stands of heaping share plates decorated with edible flowers and fresh mint right down to the salt and pepper served with tiny wooden spoons – it was all in the details and guests are still talking about how incredible it all was. “We were absolutely delighted with Eunice as our choice of caterer for our wedding on the 1st of June 2013. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts as we were doing all of it ourselves however once I met Eunice, I knew we were in safe hands. Eunice was extremely organised from start to finish and helped us to be too as she advised on caterhire, marquee setup and tabling plans making our lives that bit easier in the stressful run-up to the day. “Eunice catered our Paddy’s Day wedding this year at the beautiful Castle Oliver and was exceptional. Absolutely everything she did was sublime and meticulously organised for the three days. The venue was self catering and I was completely overwhelmed with organising the breakfasts, the family meal the night before, the wedding meal, the night after, all from very limited catering facilities! and as an avid foodie, all our guests had huge expectations. I had spent alot of time sourcing the perfect caterer until a colleague suggested Eunice who swooped in with lots of different delicious options, and all to a very reasonable budget.

Personally, our favourite thing was Eunice’s flexibility, enthusiasm and creativity, she let us suggest recipes (which she tested and tweaked to work on the day) served Irish coffees, served the midnight feast much later than most places as we wanted them at the end of the night, made shamrock shaped sandwiches and cookies for Paddy’s day…. the list goes on, she even convinced me that it wasnt a good idea for the bride to do the cake (a three tiered cake of different flavours) which was quite honestly the yummiest we’ve ever had (thank god she convinced us otherwise). She really does go above and beyond, even the jugs of water on the table had berries and mint and ice. Literally every single thing is done to perfection like nowhere else, which leads me on to the service.

Grace is one of the most skilled, organised and professional people I have ever come across. She took care of everybody in the room on the day and took care of all the stress heads (bride and family) the day before radiating her calm influence. She also had loads of great ideas beforehand for decorating the table and menu/placecard styles resulting in the room looking absolutely beautiful.

Lastly, Eunice and Grace are genuinely lovely people and if you’re planning a wedding/big event etc, they’re the perfect team to be involved and I wouldn’t waste any time looking elsewhere. Everybody is still raving about the food at our wedding and will be for years to come.”

“Eunice Power catered for our wedding on the 16th of June, 2012 and for a lunch the next day. There were around 180 guests on each day. From the moment we contacted Eunice we knew we were in good hands!! Eunice is an organised, talented caterer who was a joy to work with. As well as having a seriously impressive menu to choose from, she was full of great tips for the day – she helped us make some decisions on which marquee to go for, the decorations, even ideas for bands. Once we had chosen from her imaginative and mouth-watering menu we were told “Leave the rest to me.” With Eunice, her right hand woman Grace (who could run a small country) and the team on the case we were able to focus on other things. At no point did we have to worry about the catering, table set up and staffing. It all ran seamlessly. The food was simply delicious, 10/10… handmade chutneys, duck terrine, crab brulee, Asian pork belly, succulent legs of lamb, freshly baked bread and only locally sourced seasonal produce – people have been raving about the food ever since. I only wish I had been hungrier on the day!!”

“We were in trepidation of having our daughter’s wedding at home. So many things could go wrong,was it not easier to just go and book a hotel.?? At least then we would have someone else to take the blame if it all went pear shaped. But one 30 minute meeting with Eunice changed all that. We simply outlined what our plans were for the menu and the marquee and Eunice said “No problem, leave that to me, you go off and worry about the things you have to worry about and forget my end of things” Tables, Chairs, Crockery, Cuttlery, Glasses, Cookers, Fridges you name it, Eunice organised it. Eunice was even able to advise our electrician the power output she required from the generator for the cookers, fridges etc. On the day of the wedding the military precision with which Grace and her team carried out their duties was fantastic. Even if we are a little biased, we have no doubt it was one of the best meals we have ever had and that includes many top restaurants as well. We went to Eunice simply to do the food. But “The Powerfield Experience” is a great deal more than that. Once you tell Eunice what you want, you simply turn up on the day and be a guest at your own function.”
